The general objective of the technical assistance requested is to improve the capacity of the Democratic Republic of Congo to mobilize sufficient financial resources for the implementation of initiatives to combat climate change, and thus to implement the NDC.
Specific objective is to make the services provided by the National Forest Fund efficient from the point of view of mobilizing financial resources.
Nature and scope of the services provided
The following tasks are to be carried as part of the assignment:
- Identification and analysis of institutional capacity development needs and development of a capacity-building plan
- Support for the development of a fund-raising strategy and development of one or two project concept notes
